I am passionate about sharing with clients all the information I have acquired from my many years working as a men's groomer in the entertainment industry. For me, it's more than just a haircut, I believe in helping my clients build confidence through total self care.
About Michelle Lee
Michelle Lee is a second-generation barber with over 25 years of experience working in the entertainment industry. Ms. Lee holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her degree at University College London. She spent her first year out of college working in London, where she discovered her career path as a makeup artist and hair stylist for film and television.
Since then, Michelle has had the privilege of working on some of the biggest television productions, including Winning Time, Westworld, The Company You Keep, and General Hospital, among many others. Throughout her career, she has worked with a diverse group of celebrities, artists, athletes, and political figures, including Magic Johnson, Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, Rob Reiner, Billy Zane, and former Secretary of State John Kerry.
In 2018, Michelle attended Western Barber Institute, where she mastered the art of traditional shaves, beard trims, and fades. She has also completed advanced training at the world-renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy, further refining her technical skills and expertise in hair design.
From 2024 to 2025, Michelle worked as a barber at a hair restoration clinic in West Hollywood, specializing in pre- and post-hair transplant haircuts. In addition to her barbering services, she provided specialized scalp treatments and hair and scalp care for clients experiencing hair loss, including those affected by alopecia. This experience deepened her understanding of the unique grooming needs and personal considerations of clients navigating hair loss and hair restoration.
In 2023, Michelle opened Fortitude Men's Grooming Studio, combining her extensive industry experience, technical expertise, and passion for barbering to create a personalized grooming experience for every client. Her commitment is to provide exceptional service that leaves each client looking sharp, feeling confident, and looking their very best.
